For us, linen is the simplest way to connect with the earth and maintain a balanced relationship with its resources.

Everything is connected

Dor embraces the slow production and slow living philosophy of the Mediterranean lifestyle. It cares about the world and all life on it. It strives to benefit the ecosystem and society it is part of and to build a long-term relationship with them.

Since 2017, due to linen's superior environmental properties compared to many natural and synthetic fibers, it has been working to make linen a more widespread choice, regardless of season or use. It aims to transcend the conventional limits of linen use, creating versatile designs and functional details for year-round wear.

We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint

The ready-to-wear sector alone accounts for approximately 4% of total carbon emissions. If this rate is not reduced by 50% by 2030, negative changes in the ecosystem may become irreversible.

As a brand that works exclusively with linen, we use linen fabrics that undergo carbon-neutral production processes. This allows us to have a carbon footprint up to 63% lower compared to the industry average.

The choices we make every day for Dor, including our decision to work with linen, are primarily shaped by our responsibility to the environment.

We use naturally occurring materials

Linen fabric:
As one of the most eco-friendly fabrics, linen significantly reduces our environmental impact compared to brands that use petroleum-based fabrics or conventional cotton.

Mother-of-pearl accessories:
We use accessories made from commercially sourced, sustainable mother-of-pearl shells.

100% biodegradable products:
We do not waste our fabrics and products. However, if one of our products needs to return to nature at the end of its life, linen fully decomposes in approximately 6 months.
